I SEE YOU.

You've spent a long time evolving. Becoming more conscious, regulated, surrendered, more okay with what is. And somewhere along the way, you started to wonder if wanting more meant you weren't grateful enough. If wanting to be wildly turned on by your life meant you’d become too attached. If wanting money, sex, beauty, adventure, creative success, deep love, pleasure, recognition, risk, power or ecstatic experiences meant your ego was running the show.

Maybe you've quietly absorbed the idea that the more spiritual you become, the less you should need. The less you should want. The more content you should be with what is. But what if that's not freedom? What if you've simply learned to call suppression, peace? Life is supposed to be fun. You're allowed to aim for delight, to crave ecstatic aliveness, to get dressed in a way that makes you feel hot. To flirt with life and to dance until you're sweaty. To make things that didn't exist before To fall in love and take healthy risks and to want something simply because it lights you up.

Pleasure does not have to be related to as an escape from pain. And desire does not need to function as a deviation from gratitude and presence. Your bodies instincts are not an obstacle to your soul. Your body is your temple and it generates the power to actualize your souls dreams.

THE GENERATIVE LOVER PARTICIPATES & SURRENDERS

Maybe you're the one with a ton of energy. You feel everything. Want everything. You have ideas coming out of your ears. Your erotic energy is alive and loud and sometimes completely undirected. You can get obsessed, overdo, chase and leak. You can be lost in chaos and call it aliveness. You can try to force the outcome because sitting still long enough to let the mystery reveal its part feels unbearable. You know how to activate but less clear on how to direct and work with life and the great mystery.

Or maybe you're on the other side.

The dormant one. You've become incredibly good at being okay. At accepting, surrendering, trusting the universe and finding the lesson. At being grateful, regulating yourself back into neutrality, telling yourself that you don't really need the thing you secretly want anyway. You call it contentment. The Lover in you is aching for deeper devotion. And there is a part of you that knows you haven't come here simply to be safe. You came here to live.

Maybe you've read the polarity teachings and absorbed the gender conditioning that says women should follow and men should lead. That one person should be the container and the other should surrender into it. That we’re either masculine or feminine. And maybe some part of you has felt confused about what it means for your sense of self-leadership.

Beneath all of the noise - you know that you are here to co-create with life. And that co-creation requires the right amount of active participation and surrendered receptivity. That too much action is a form of control and too much surrender is a form of passivity. And that underneath both is someones else voice telling you what your glass ceiling is. What is possible for you and what’s not. But what’s deeper than that is a knowing of who you are and the life and love you came here to create.

This is where the Generative Lover comes in. The one who has the capacity to love courageously and devote passionately. To feel desire and not shut it down, to fuel the body with pleasure and listen to the direction of soul. The one that knows that your aliveness is not a threat. That is ready to liberate themselves from the belief that if you are too expressive, too flirtacious with life, too powerful, or too free, that someone else will project something onto you and that is somehow worse than shrinking. Somewhere along the way you learned that other people's inability to hold your aliveness was your responsibility. But you don't have to take on their projections. You can become fortified in your own self-trust. You can let someone misunderstand you without abandoning yourself to correct their story.

And maybe you've been blaming your relationship for the fact that you're unfulfilled or waiting for the right person to make you feel alive. What if devoting to your pleasure and your purpose has been the key to your fulfillment all along?

And this isn't about becoming radically independent. It's about becoming generative. It's about becoming someone who can bring inspired energy to the relationship.
